Christina and Chris had the sort of wedding a photographer dreams of. It was colorful, the guests were friendly and ready to have fun, and the whole affair was accentuated by unique little touches. For instance, in lieu of the traditional wedding cake, the couple offered their guests an assortment of delicious wedding pies. They also had a Brazilian band “crash” the reception, weaving their way through the tables of delighted friends and family before settling down near the dance floor.
Their celebration was so well suited to the lucky bride and groom–there was definitely a palpable sense of love and joy in the air that night.

I especially loved the room where Christina got ready. The vintage floral wallpaper at the venue made for some nice contrasts with the simple elegance of her dress. The antique mirrors (below) also made for some interesting compositions.

Danny photographed the fellas getting ready in their room, which was filled with its own idiosyncratic flourishes such as the feather headdress (above) and the lion heads carved into the opulent armchairs (below).

Chris and his best man took a leisurely stroll together around the Lionsgate Center before the ceremony got underway, sharing a special moment together and taking in the day. Meanwhile, Christina had her own way of getting rid of some of the excess excitement she felt–namely by taking some hops on the bed.

The real-life action of their ceremony framed in a vintage mirror looks like another painting on the wall.

Here is a good look at the tablescapes, which were smartly done in a clean, colorful fashion.

Double yum! Chris and Christina’s food looked almost too good to eat!

The couple listens as their closest friends and family deliver their toasts.

Time to hit the dance floor! Check out how they deftly maneuver with their glasses of wine in tow.

These shots of the couple dancing in one of the venue’s many gilded mirrors may be my favorite from the evening. It is always so fun to see a new bride and groom let loose once the dancing starts, and you could really feel the love between them that night.

The gang’s all here! Talk about a good lookin’ bunch!

These photos are amazing! The one of them dancing in the mirror almost made it look like a framed painting, and the one of the wine glasses that is all blurry….I would hang that on my wall.
Phil and I were married at the Lionsgate Center…your beautiful photos brought back some of my own memories.
