Tucked away 11,550 feet up in the Rocky Mountains, Michael and Aaron said “I Do” forever. Situated at the peak of Arapahoe Basin and reachable only by chairlift, the Black Mountain Express, in particular, was the most beautiful Black Mountain Lodge wedding. The two grooms held their wedding on the lodge’s spacious deck under the summer sun and surrounded by towering mountain peaks. Michael, Aaron and their huggable pooch took advantage of the summer sunlight and took adorable pictures on the mountainside before the ceremony. Their spunky wedding party joined them as well! Each groom had three best men and one best woman to accompany them down the aisle and stand by their sides as they closed the current chapter of their
We can't quite put our finger on why we loved this bridal styled shoot so much. Maybe it's the big moss covered wall that's capable of turning into a wooden one, the adorable pooch and her floral crown, or the beautiful, glammed up bride! If you aren't throwing a Moss Denver wedding, the second best thing to it is having a bridal styled shoot there! A new thing From The Hip Photo is offering, on our ever expanding list of sessions we offer, is a bridal styled shoot! Bridals have been around for quite some time, taking beautiful images of the bride to show off and document her wedding attire. We've decided to take a twist on old school bridals, teaming
October is arguably Colorado's most colorful autumn month, but if you add in a glowing newlywed couple, it's without a doubt the most picturesque month! These Eldorado Canyon wedding photos are unique because they came from a post wedding day photo session. Gaby and Miles got married in Costa Rica earlier in the year, as that's where they're from, but they decided to do a post-wedding shoot surrounded by some beautiful Colorado scenery. Not only was the couple glammed up in their wedding day attire, their dog Pancakes was dressed in his wedding day garb! The trio looked dapper as ever, and not to mention extremely in love. We can't speak for Pancakes but it's safe to assume he loves his parents
If you thought there was nothing more precious than Alana and Erick's engagement pictures along Clear Creek in Golden, Colorado...think again. We had the privilege of photographing their December Beaver Creek wedding day in the middle of the stunning snowcapped Rocky Mountains! The duo looked extremely elegant and their venue only complimented their aesthetic! The holiday season is fun for many reasons, but spending the day in a rustic, festively decorated, wooden lodge surrounded by loved ones (and with a few feet of snow outside) while celebrating your wedding is something truly special. Not only was their SaddleRidge wedding venue in Beaver Creek beautiful, but Alana and Erick also embraced the DIY spirit by picking out candles, gorgeous flowers, perfect table toppers, plate settings,
We first met this fun-loving couple at a pre-ceremony wedding party chalk fight where they were covered head to toe in bright chalk powder paints. Believe us when we tell you that they clean up very nicely, as do all of their wedding party participants. So let's bring your attention to their even more spectacular Villa Parker wedding day!
Weddings don't have to be massive, expensive, all day events with hundreds of guests and multiple venues. We believe weddings should represent your love and personality as a couple, instead. Lee and Cesar are the perfect example of how they made their special day completely their own with an intimate backyard wedding in Denver that we were honored to capture.
When it comes to weddings, it really is all in the DIYtails. We've seen our fair share of homemade invitations, handprinted save the dates, and centerpieces arranged by the couple themselves. Pinterest, we love you. We also love the idea of adding personalized touches of unique DIY wedding details to your big day! Matt and Lindsay have such big hearts and were such a treat to photograph during their outdoor Vail wedding at The Lodge at Vail on the stunning Vail Wedding Deck overlooking the Colorado landscape. As one of Matt and Lindsay's bridesmaids put it during her toast, "We don't have mountains like this in Alabama!"
Formal wear and high heels couldn't keep this fun-loving couple and their guests from hiking through the Colorado heat to get the perfect mountain backdrop during their gorgeous Peaceful Valley Ranch wedding. Thanks for being such great sports, you all! This was a cozy, quintessential Colorado wedding and we were overjoyed to document it for them!
