We believe in transparent, clear pricing–that’s why you’ll find all of our basic packages listed on our site. If you’re looking for something you don’t see here, just get in touch with us. We’re happy to customize a package to fit your needs and budget.
Regardless of what package you select, all of our work includes the following at no additional charge:
- Proofing via a user-friendly, password-protected system on our website (no third party)
- All of your photos on DVD at full resolution. No watermarks, no tiny files, no asterisks
- Complete printing rights so you can do whatever you’d like with your images
- An online slideshow of your retouched images to share with friends and family
- Easy, affordably priced, and entirely optional prints via a system on our site

Weddings and Engagements
Wedding and engagement photography is the lifeblood of our business and something we are very passionate about. Our packages are designed to provide you with more added value as you add more hours, with some packages including album design and printing, engagement shoots, and trash the dress sessions.
Since each wedding is unique, we provide an array of different “flavors” to choose from, as well as the option to design your own. All options are available with either one or two photographers. Our most popular flavor is the Hot Fudge Sundae, which runs $3400 with one photographer and $4200 with two, and includes a full day (up to eight hours) of on-site photography, post-processing retouching of 150 selected images, and bespoke wedding album design in addition to all of our standards such as all of your images on DVD, an online slideshow of your retouched images, and so on.
Here’s a look at how our main flavors break down:
Chocolate Chip:
Includes four hours of photography at your wedding and reception, enhancement of 50 selected images, an online slideshow, and all high resolution files on DVD.
$2000 with one photographer; $2400 with two photographers.
Banana Split:
Includes six hours of photography at your wedding and reception, enhancement of 100 selected images, an online slideshow, and all high resolution files on DVD.
$2550 with one photographer; $3150 with two photographers.
Hot Fudge Sundae:
Our most popular flavor includes the custom design and printing of an eighty page wedding album, in addition to eight hours of photography at your wedding and reception, enhancement of 150 selected images, an online slideshow, and all high resolution files on DVD.
$3400 with one photographer; $4200 with two photographers.
The Cherry on Top:
Our final flavor is our all-inclusive wedding photography package. It includes an engagement session for use prior to your big day as well as a post-wedding session (which you can use for a trash the dress shoot, portraits, baby photos, or even a fun boudoir session). You’ll also receive a photobooth for two hours at your wedding reception in addition to all of the goodies from our Hot Fudge Sundae package: the custom design and printing of an eighty page wedding album, eight hours of photography at your wedding and reception, enhancement of 150 selected images, an online slideshow, and all high resolution files on DVD. Plus, you’ll receive a $100 print credit to score some excellent, high quality prints from your big day!
$5000 with two photographers.
If you are planning a destination wedding or are looking for coverage across multiple days, please let us know and we will gladly prepare a custom package to meet your needs.
Engagement Sessions: $350.
Our engagement session packages include one hour of photography at the location or locations of your choosing, post-processing enhancement of 16 selected images, an online gallery of all your retouched photos, and all of your high resolution files on DVD.
Trash the Dress Sessions:: $350.
You won’t need your dress again, so why not have some fun in it? You don’t need to “trash” your dress if you don’t want to; this is all about getting some beautiful photos of you in your dress out having fun. You can be splashing around in the pool, frolicking near a lake, riding a rollercoaster, or strutting your stuff in an abandoned building–whatever you think would make for a fun, memorable set of photos.
Like our engagement sessions, our trash the dress package includes one hour of photography, enhancement of 16 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos, and all of your high resolution images on DVD.
In addition to the services outlined above, please note that we provide all of the following à la carte options :

Individual Portraits and Headshots
Senior Portrait Package: $250.
Includes one half hour of photography, enhancement of 10 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos, and the entire shoot in high resolution files on DVD.
Infant or Child Portrait Package: $250.
Includes one half hour of photography, enhancement of 10 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos, and the entire shoot in high resolution files on DVD.
Professional Headshots: $150.
Includes fifteen minutes of photography, enhancement of 5 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos, and the entire shoot in high resolution files on DVD. Headshots may be photographed against traditional backgrounds or out in a natural setting at your discretion.
Group Portraits
Family Portrait Package: $350.
Round everyone up for a creative family portrait session, which includes one hour of photography, post-processing enhancement of 16 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos to send to friends and relatives, and all of your high-resolution images on DVD.
Band Photography Package: $350.
From the Hip has a lot of experience working with bands and artists. Our standard band photography session includes one hour of photography, retouching of 16 selected images, an online slideshow of your favorites, and all of the images on DVD at their full resolution.
Pet Portaiture
Pet and Animal Portraiture Package: $250.
Celebrate your favorite pal from another species with one half hour of photography, enhancement of 10 selected images, an online slideshow of your retouched photos, and the entire shoot in high resolution files on DVD.
Boudoir and Fine Art Nudes
Boudoir and Fine Art Nude Photography Package: $500.
Whether you’re looking for a retro style pin-up shoot, some artistic nudes in nature, or something in between, From the Hip does excellent work, ensuring that you feel comfortable and look fantastic. Boudoir sessions make for terrific gifts and our professional team is happy to help brainstorm concepts and set ups.
This package includes ninety minutes of photography, post-processing retouching of 30 selected images, a private, password-protected online slideshow of your favorite shots, all of your images on DVD at their full resolution, and a 7″ x 7″ custom-designed album with your favorite shots.
