Last night Danny and I went to see the Presets – who are I would argue the best live band in the world. Yes, that is very high praise, but they deserve it. Last time we saw them was in very different circumstances playing to a very enthusiastic crowd of 20 people at the Larimer Lounge. This time around, the Bluebird Theater was sold out and everybody was bouncing. You can read Danny’s review and see more of my photos in the Denver Post’s Reverb section. The first interview we did with them is on the DWA. I especially liked that the crowd was drinking Foster’s beer. (The Presets are from Australia).

Some older photos of The Presets from June 2008.

Oh, and The Golden Filter opened.

What's New on the Blog:

As usual, your pics rock as loudly as the bands you photograph. And I love the way you’ve laid out this page – smartly done!
I have never seen the Bluebird look so cool.
Excellent work as is your habit, Nina.
My favorite is the left image in the third row–I love how good you make Julian’s white blazer look.
I stole the keys to the skies,
We’ll leave this place for the final time,
No crying words, no goodbyes,
Yes tonight we’re burning all the tough times.
