Instead of having their wedding ceremony at a typical venue, Yvonne and Pat opted to invite their guests into their chic Denver home for a memorably intimate celebration. With their friends gathered around them on their rooftop, the couple exchanged their vows as the Denver skyline glistened away in the background. They included a traditional tea ceremony as part of the proceedings, exchanged rings, and then took some time to stroll around their neighborhood for some inspired photographs.
Afterwards, the whole party headed over to a different sort of House–this time the cleverly named (but sadly now defunct) restaurant in northwest Denver. Once there, guests were treated to a wonderful dinner and great dancing on the patio.
Yvonne and Pat were an incredibly sweet pair to work with and their wedding was infused with an effortless elegance perhaps best manifested in Yvonne’s gorgeous dress.
We’ll never forget the stunning floral arrangements they placed throughout their home… or Pat’s nail-biting enthusiasm at watching the University of Michigan (his alma mater) beat Notre Dame in the minutes before he was set to walk down the aisle. (We know it made a perfect day all the sweeter.)
