Although wintertime is still a little ways away, it's already starting to get nice and snowy here in Colorado. In fact, the Rocky Mountain National Park has a bunch of snow already! Luke and Brian sure knew how to keep each other warm for this shoot. In fact, we're not sure how they didn't freeze! Check out these lovely Rocky Mountain National Park engagement photos! Rocky Mountain National Park The Rocky Mountain National Park is one of our favorite places to shoot photos because it's just so damn beautiful! No matter the season, this park never fails to amaze us. Although this was taken only the second week of October, the whole park has turned into a winter wonderland. Encompassing about 415 square miles, the Rocky Mountain National Park spans the Continental Divide and its surrounding ecosystems and mountains. From camping, to fishing, to scenic drives, there really is no shortage of activities! It is also home to over 350 miles of walking and hiking trails. It's common knowledge that Colorado is home to some of the most beautiful scenic areas and parks in the country. But what could be more breathtaking when you add two bright and beautiful faces into the mix, and at Evergreen Lake at that? Congratulations to Lisa and Jen on your engagement! Evergreen Lake The town of Evergreen is home to a beautiful lake and lake house which both provide an absolutely fantastic environment for a photoshoot. Weather in Colorado can be somewhat unpredictable at times, but on this day, the sun shined as bright as this couple's future! Despite the sunshine, the weather was still cold enough for us to capture some beloved moments on the lake's frozen surface and banks. The perfect embodiment of "Colorado weather," we think! A Romantic Getaway The Evergreen lake house is ever-so romantic. It just might be the perfect place to escape to with a loved one! In fact, our young couple Lisa and Jen were incredibly passionate at our session -- with laughs, smiles, and embraces. This charming couple asked us to photograph their quintessential Denver engagement photos, and of course we had to say “yes”!!! Love in the City We’ll take any opportunity to boast about and showcase our wonderful city and its attractions. If you’re looking for something modern and urban, but still wonderfully beautiful, Union Station and Millennium Bridge are two of Denver’s most popular sites. We recommend these spots for any photography occasion! Like Anahita and Brandon, many others chose to have their photos taken at these popular spots. Engagement season is almost upon us, and what better way to celebrate than champagne on this cold January day at Clear Creek? It's always a pleasure for us to contribute to building long-lasting relationships -- so here's to you, Danielle & Eli! Clear Creek Clear Creek is a small brook that runs through Golden, CO that offers scenic richness and beauty to the surrounding areas. During the summer, people can come to the creek to fish, kayak, and even inner-tube in the creek's waters. The trail that runs along the creek also offers a great path for runners and bikers alike. During the winter months, Clear Creek county (which is a bit farther west from Denver) offers some great holiday events that can help you get into high winter spirits. The winter months in Colorado bring forth a great combination of sunlight and snow. The mountains near Golden provide some great background for our sessions. Jeff and Hannah are getting married, and they wanted our help shooting their engagement photos at Red Rocks Amphitheatre! And you know what they say... red (rocks) is for love! On April 28th, 2018, we took a trip to the famous concert, movie, and exercise venue to capture this lovely couple among the blooming spring flowers. Red Rocks Buzz Red Rocks Amphitheater is among one of the most photographed and stunning locations in Colorado, and it’s pretty clear why. Outside Morrison, Colorado, the deep, burgundy rock formations and trails of flowers make the ideal place for sweet photos like these. Plus, the natural lighting is often nearly perfect, and there’s a spot for every kind of picture. Also, Check out Emily and Brendan’s Red Rocks engagement photos here! While these two are easy on the eye and soft on the heart, their stories are beautifully interesting. Rocky Mountain Fever We love building relationships with every couple or family that we photograph, but it’s even more fun to capture the personalities and quirks of two good friends! These two artistic souls looked practically perfect against this national park’s mountainous vistas and shimmering lakes on a May day. Their love was more than obvious, and their appreciation of Colorado was clear, too! Elegance in every twirl and tenderness in every kiss, Maureen and Andres’ engagement session at Clear Creek Trail was magic fit for a king and queen. These two looked stunning at this park in Golden, Colorado, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day with them. These lovebirds gleamed with joy at the prospect of their coming marriage, and we were happy to capture the moment! Clear Creek Class The Clear Creek trail is a favorite of ours, and one we return to time and time again. This October photo shoot gave us trees of bright yellow and orange. The creek’s water in the afternoon sun gave this couple regal halos and sparkling backdrops that we couldn’t pass up! And while the trail is full of walking trails and very close to the quaint town of Golden, the park is perfect for a photo shoot for any occasion, too. Check out Rachel and Justin’s maternity session at Clear Creek! Two Royal Sweethearts Maureen's long dress and elegant heels made her the most dazzling dancer in all the land. With Andres’ dapper suit and spunky red socks, this pair looked almost more perfect than the stunning Colorado backdrops we captured.

A Galactic Engagement | Jordan & Daniel

We were on cloud nine with Jordan and Daniel’s magical engagement photos at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park! We already love this location (as you can see from our previous post here), but this couple’s electric disposition made this session enchanting and totally out-of-this-world. The two are not only clear advocates of color and brilliance, but their affection for each other was quite possibly the most eye-catching of all. An Outdoor Outing Located in Evergreen, Colorado, this park hosted the most incredible pictures for Jordan and Daniel. With acres numbering nearly 770, this park has every vibe to offer. First, we explored the park’s trails and rocky plateaus so Jordan’s bright blue dress and Daniel’s dark-toned outfit would stand out. The park’s earthy greys and greens painted the perfect Colorado picture for this couple’s images! After the trails, we visited the park’s more rustic and western flares such as a wooden barn. Here, the couple melded like yin and yang in their black and white tones against beautiful wood. The wood even made the most ideal ring holder for Jordan's rock. While maintaining the Colorado feel, this country barn provided another rural perspective. Looking both happy and completely in love, the two
