In Colorado, you’d think that chicly rustic engagement photos wouldn’t be as great as they are in the more southern part of the U.S. Well, think again! Lauren and Phil looked like a romance straight out of one of Brad Paisley’s songs. On a side note, can we just say that red is most definitely Lauren’s color!
Golden, Colorado’s Clear Creek History Park was the perfect setting for a rustic photo session, with all the homestead’s buildings from the early 1900’s proving to be a great backdrop. There were several neat props provided to us from the historic park, as well as purely by nature. The red barn was perfect with their outfits, bringing all eyes to the adorable couple.
Lauren and Phil added their own dash of chic, though! A stroll alongside Clear Creek has never looked so fashionable or full of love. The way these two look at each other and laugh with each other reflects nothing but pure happiness.
The duo didn’t hesitate to snuggle up to each other nor did they hesitate to jump into each other’s arms. Lauren was a firecracker in her loose sweater, denim cutoffs, and red cowboy boots. Phil’s red checkered print shirt played very well with her sweater’s texture. Not to mention, the reds from her boots and his shirt looked incredible together! The calming tones from the old homestead buildings made the bright aspects of their outfits pop even more.
Originally from Florida, Lauren met Phil while at Colorado State University which we’re very happy for because just look at how smokin’ and in love they are! Adrian at The Gardner Effect is the planner for their wedding day, which we know is going to turn out nothing short of perfect.
We feel very lucky to be able to capture moments from such a monumental, loved-up chapter in a person’s life. Congratulations to the bride and groom-to-be, and thank you for letting us take your beautiful, chicly rustic engagement photos!
