Golden Family Photoshoot
We love this time of the year when the seasons change. The leaves on trees begin to fall as the weather starts to shift, hoping for chilly snowflakes to blanket the ground as the holidays come up. Golden, Colorado lies 15 miles West of Denver and is home to a very unique park that holds the history of the town. It also makes an excellent location for family photos! We captured beautiful family photos in Golden of Jamie, Peter, Eleanor, and their lovely dog, Lily.
Look at Me!
Jamie and Peter had their lovely miss Eleanor who is only four years old, but she really added a ton of character and playfulness to this session. Eleanor wanted us to follow her around with the camera. She was so cute and had such a large personality that it could entertain us for hours. She was able to gain confidence and comfortability in front of the camera fairly fast. We are fortunate enough to have captured these guys again as we did last year. It’s a wonderful gift to see the growth and changes in kids as we continue to photograph them over the years!
Young at Heart
Jamie and Peter became a family when they adopted Lily, their 14-year-old dog. Lily was such a sport when it came to posing for family pictures. Though she is an old pup, you could tell her spirit is as young as the day she became a part of this family. Her black fur was able to perfectly add contrast to these pictures. I know that this photoshoot will be a perfect keepsake for a long time.
We are so happy with how these family photos turned out. We love this location as we have done many different types of sessions here, like this big family we captured during the warm summer days.
