Senior portraits are something every high schooler eagerly awaits taking! Celia chose to have her senior photo session here in Stapleton at Central Park. We love the vast parks, creeks, and lake this area has to offer for outdoor senior portraits. Like From the Hip, Celia and her family are proud to call the Stapleton neighborhood home. However, their community ties run even deeper: Celia’s parents are the masterminds behind Cheluna Brewing. It’s our favorite place to grab a drink at Stanley Marketplace, where you’ll find our new From the Hip Photo studio (#StanleyFamily).
Not only was Celia’s dress absolutely adorable, it paired perfectly with the tall wild grasses. Plus, her red flats made the greens and ambers pop even more than her smile did! The colors we captured give off a very elegant woodland vibe even though we were in a local open space. Don’t hesitate to click through our Pinterest for some outfit inspiration.
Given that she’s studying theater at Denver School of the Arts, she was incredibly talented when it came to striking a pose in front of the camera. In all honesty, the park was her stage and we were just there to capture the moment! Celia’s personality shone vibrantly through her outdoor senior portraits. Check out one of our blog posts for tips on how to show off your personality during senior portraits!
Parents, get your college or high school senior to see us for a photo session! Not only will they need these photos for their yearbook and your devoted wall space, senior portraits can be a great time to document the family all together before the kids head off to college or begin their adult lives. We frequently do a joint session where half of the time is spent with the soon-to-be-graduate and the other half is spent getting fantastic shots of the whole family together.
For this outdoor senior portrait session we only photographed Celia, but we’ll surely be back soon to get some wonderful photos of her whole family. We wish Celia all the best as she graduates and steps onward and into future endeavors!
