With summer behind us, there is a lot to look forward to with the changing of the seasons. The color of the leaves will turn and we'll begin pulling out our sweaters as the temperature cools. It's a time to relax more and sweat less. While we're excited about Fall, there's much we'll miss about the summer. Today we're remembering one of our favorite summer memories. Back in June, we did a scenic Granby Ranch wedding shoot with Desirae and Nico. A Granby Ranch Wedding Shoot Granby Ranch, CO is a "four-season mountain community where families connect and play." You can hit the slopes for an exhilarating day of skiing or play a laid-back game of golf. The ranch has a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. The best part? It offers all the amenities and freedom of a remote resort while only being 90 minutes outside of Denver. Over 500 families live on the ranch, which means you'll experience a real sense of community. Marise Cipriani, founder of Granby Ranch, writes that the ranch is "where families and friends connect, live, play, and enjoy nature in the Colorado Rockies." Interested in an outdoor wedding? Classic with a twist? That’s exactly how we would describe Nathalia and Nathan’s Saint Malo’s Chapel wedding. This day was bright and brilliant among every stone, mountain, and corner. Congratulations to the newlyweds! The Classic In addition to having dangerously similar names, this couple’s harmony with one another was nothing ordinary. Somehow they each embellished themselves in personal touches like bowties and red lipstick, yet they fit together as well as the stained glass pieces of the chapel. Saint Malo’s Chapel on the Rock in Allenspark, Colorado, is considered a state landmark not just because of its longstanding history with the Catholic church. This chapel rests at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains like a sleeping giant. The chapel’s stone exterior dating back to 1939 provided earthy, cool backdrops for the happy couple. And if you think that’s spectacular, wait until you see the breathtaking stained glass art inside! Check out some of our other favorite venues here! The Twist We thought Nathalia looked so elegant in a fitted wedding dress and simple pearls. Her shimmery auburn hair and red-tinted lipstick made her classically beautiful on the inside and out! Nathan wore a timeless tux with a fun bowtie because ~why
This wedding swept us right off our feet, and we’re still recovering! Lauren and Phil’s August wedding at Crooked Willow Farms was something out of a Cinderella story, and we never wanted to wake up from this fairytale! With August right around the corner, we thought we'd share last year's August dream wedding we are still not over! A Rustic Venue Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur, Colorado will give you the rustic feel and rural location you’re looking for. (Check out the other events we've covered there!). It has a gorgeous outdoor ceremony area with a view of the beloved Rocky Mountains. The indoor space is perfect for a reception where your guests can dance the night away. As expected, Lauren and Phil’s wedding decorations fit right in with this dreamy venue. Hanging lights and mason jars alongside blue tablecloths gave the space a magical vibe for the evening party. Based on some amazing candid shots we got, the guests sure had a good time! A Cinderella Story Their guests laughed and boogied until long after the clock struck midnight, and Lauren and Phil wore their giddy, “just-married” faces all night. Lauren looked radiant in her fitted and light pink
This love story is one of our favorites! Ben & Justin's wedding at their favorite brewery was a perfect opportunity for them to start their happily ever after.
Someone put this couple in a Denver magazine! We love photographing breathtaking Colorado outdoors for any occasion. However, every once in a while, it’s nice to have a little taste of the city! We celebrated Traci and Andrew at their downtown Denver wedding at the Brown Palace Hotel, and wow was it incredible! A Denver Dream Laced in gold and with hints of timeless elegance, this wedding was one for the books. Traci and Andrew welcomed family, friends and even their beloved dog to one of Denver’s oldest, most popular event venues. The Brown Palace Hotel proved the perfect spot for everything from bridal party shots to the ceremony. Located in the heart of the city, nearly everything guests might want is within walking distance: restaurants, museums, bars, music, shopping and more! Check out our blog here for other popular downtown Denver locations! Black & Gold Photographing Traci and Andrew with their wedding party was a blast! Friends and family were so bubbly that nearly every shot was a candid one – and that’s not a bad thing! Andrew and the groomsmen looked sharp in their black tuxedos and bowties. The bridesmaids glittered in gold while Traci looked wonderfully chic
We love all the fun we have downtown, but most importantly, we also love getting out of the hustle and bustle. Sometimes we just need a break from it all, and the charm of a country wedding is hard to beat.
This traditional wedding was anything but boring. Taylor & Ryan's wedding in Beaver Creek had just the right accents of color, and a few unique aspects, like their gondola ride, that made it one of the most memorable traditional weddings we've ever seen!
While gorgeous mountain backdrops aren't necessarily in short supply in Colorado, the vista offered up by the ceremony site at Granby Ranch is simply unrivaled! This venue is perfect for celebrations in any weather. Come sun or snowstorm, Granby Ranch delivers stunning views and fun activities to keep your guests happy.
Mandy & Sean's breathtaking wedding in New Jersey was a celebration of their love done right. After their wonderful wedding in Colorado, they couldn't stop themselves from keeping the party alive in New Jersey, and honestly, we don't blame them!
Dawn & Spence's tropic themed wedding has us reaching for our sunglasses and leis, and dreaming of sunny Hawaiian beaches! Their bright colors and photo booth ensured that their wedding would be beach bums dream!
