Our typical engagement sessions last one hour and you receive roughly 100 ready-to-use fully edited images that come with that. Katie and Matt’s Urban Engagement Session in Downtown Denver was a little longer as they wanted to incorporate several different locations and we loved that!
We started off at Middleman on Colfax, a special place in their hearts, and a gorgeous space to do a shoot in! The painted murals and the overall vibe is magical. We recommend choosing a location that is not only beautiful but something that is special to you as well!
On the Move!
Then we continued on foot to Katie’s place nearby getting a few shots in by the Bluebird theater, also a place that has significance to them! It’s so nice to work in places with special importance into your engagement shoot, as that makes it even more personal.
Katie’s place is a stunning carriage house filled with love, plants, and of course, fur buddy. As they got closer to the wedding she actually sold it to move in together with Matt, so how great was it to savor those memories together there before the move.
Downtown is a Dream
Our final stop was the venue Asterisk. They have a great rooftop and a fun blue wall that we utilized with the big lego blocks that we found. Katie and Matt were amazing to work with. Their fun personalities really come through in the photos and we had such a good time getting creative with them. The wedding is planned for this fall and we can’t wait to document the next chapter of this lovely love story.
