Danielle and Stephen are a match made in… Adventure! They are the perfect match in their shared love of travel, ice cream, and their dog Rambo! We love teaming up for intimate and adventurous weddings like theirs’ which took us on an adventure from Breckenridge, CO to Sapphire Point, and ended in Dillion, CO!

Before we made it to their venue, we couldn’t pass up visiting the stunning Sapphire Point in Dillion, CO for some killer couples photos. Rambo the pup wouldn’t have missed this for the world! Sapphire Point is one of our favorite places for not only wedding portraits but also engagements, families, and more! You cannot go wrong with this stunning location!

The Frisco Day Lodge was the perfect backdrop for Danielle and Stephen’s wedding! With lush greenery and mountain views, you couldn’t really ask for more. Their ceremony was sweet and very reminiscent of the couple. Their friend officiated the wedding and did her best to keep her eyes dry, but it wasn’t easy! She talked about Danielle and Stephen’s love and joy for one another and their many adventures! Danielle and Stephen are really a perfect match! Their dog Rambo approved, serving as part of their bridal party, he loves Stephen as much as Danielle does! 🙂 They danced the night away with their loved ones and enjoyed Little Man ice cream, a highlight of the night! Danielle told us that she was not big on cake, so instead of going with the traditional cake trend, they stuck true to their taste and went with a delicious selection of ice cream!
For both the engagement session and the wedding, my wife and I were nervous about feeling too staged and cheesy. From the Hip's photographers make you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the lens, and the photos come out amazing every time!
