An elegant and urban wedding in the spring might not sound as beautiful as a fairytale wedding in the mountains, but we are here to prove you wrong! Playing on the architecture of the ceremony bridge and restaurant atmosphere, our Coohills wedding fashion photography session incorporated vintage looks with a modern aesthetic.
Coohills is a thoroughly unique wedding venue. If you’re looking for an out-of-the-box beautiful space, this is it! The popular eatery doubles as an event facility for 40 to 400 people. An intimate yet spacious restaurant and wine cellar, Coohills is perfect for receptions. One of our favorite aspects is the walking bridge. Complete with running river below, it is rentable for all ceremonies.
Lucky for us, pictures here are perfect! We love the fact that couples are flanked by massive steel beams on all sides. The bridge also conveniently leads to an outdoor seating area. An ideal spot to say “I do”!
Models Meghan and Caleb were the perfect pair to highlight this beautifully modern location! We loved their sweet shots mid-laugh as well as their soft and intimate embraces. While classically beautiful, both had unique features. Just like Coohills!
Our first order of business was snagging some shots highlighting Coohill’s interior. The main dining room features expansive windows and plenty of sunshine. We loved playing with light, exposure, and reflection here. Yellow was the floral accent color, to introduce the element of spring into the space and give off a fresh, vibrant look. After a quick wardrobe change, we made a beeline for the bridge. Our photographer worked herself into the ground, shooting from the concrete up. Playing with angles and geometry was one of the best parts of this day. In fact, we still can’t get enough of the final product!
We had so much fun at our Coohills wedding fashion photography session showing off an urban spring wedding option! Thank you to all the rockstars involved: Coohills restaurant, Blue Bridal Boutique, Somerset Design, Ted’s Clothiers, Glamour Bar Denver, and Wilhelmina Denver models Meghan and Caleb!
