The Chandelier Barn at Lionsgate Event Center officially opened on December 1st, 2016. So, as of December 1st, we’ve been trying to pick our jaws up off the floor. Nearly 30 chandeliers hang suspended inside the space, and every last one was hand-crafted by the Lionsgate’s proud owner, Marie. That’s an impressive feat and was clearly worth the effort!
Originally a dairy farm built in 1910, the Chandelier Barn is quite the unique venue. All the rafters you see at the ceiling of the barn are the original beams from over a century ago!
The venue seats up to 110 guests for ceremonies and approximately 30 people for seated receptions and has been used for everything from wedding ceremonies to rehearsal dinners to bridal showers to business meetings. The list goes on and we can’t wait to add to it with some glamorous boudoir sessions and romantic engagement photo shoots!
The Chandelier Barn at Lionsgate is special and close to our hearts for a variety of reasons. Not only was each chandelier handmade with love by Marie–she also did all of the paneling and paint detailing by hand. Talk about a labor of love! It also provides a beautiful ceremony option for winter couples who typically have a more challenging time finding beautiful photo opportunities with the lack of greenery and flowers available in Colorado’s winter months.
Additionally, the Chandelier Barn provides a gorgeous church inspired ceremony space for couples who wish to be married in the church but do not want their guests to have to travel from the ceremony site to the reception location. The Chandelier Barn fits virtually every wedding theme from rustic chic to vintage glam. It’s glitzy and glamorous and provides the perfect amount of elegance to every event.
Catherine, a coordinator at Lionsgate Event Center, adores the stunning effect it has on every person who walks through its giant red doors. It leaves them speechless, in awe, and sets the perfect mood to say “I do!”
