Here at From the Hip Photo, we’re all about fun. There’s nothing we love more than goofing around, either in the studio or outside in the sunshine! Our top priority is obviously taking great photos, but our other top priority is having as much fun as we possibly can while doing that! That’s why we love fun family photo sessions like this that are a perfect excuse for fun and games!
Meet the Family
We first met Tabitha & Chris in 2012, when they were engaged. We were invited to do their wedding photos, and we couldn’t have been happier. Their wedding took place at Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, Colorado. The ceremony was almost as beautiful as the happy couple! After knowing the couple for so many years, we’ve loved watching their family grow! One of our favorite aspects of this special family photo session is the photos of the family together on the bridge. It’s a special nod to the couple’s wedding, where they did a special first look – also on a bridge!
Family Fun
This stylish family chose to do their family photo session at Scott Carpenter Park, in Boulder. This fun park is located in the heart of Boulder, and is named after an astronaut! The park has been enjoyed by the community since 1955 and features a fun rocket ship that serves as a distinctive nod to the astronaut it was named after. It also provides a perfect scene for unique family photos!
No matter where the photos were taken, this family would have had fun and looked great! But as great as the whole family looked, it was their adorable little boy who stole the show! He was dressed in style, with both a leather jacket and a red suede jacket for outfit options. We loved spending time with this fun family, playing together in the park. This fun family pulled at our heartstrings, and we’re sure these amazing photos will have the same effect on you!
