The Big Day Alicia and Mike celebrated their special day in the most unique way. They had an elegant winter wedding on 02/09/2019 upon a blanket of white. They had their closest friends and family to celebrate with them on a beautiful winter day! The ceremony was at the C Lazy U Ranch, one of the most iconic dude ranches in Colorado. Chris, Jon and their four children arrived in the Flagstaff mountains just outside Boulder, CO for their super-fun family session! Beginning with a hike to the top of the Lost Gulch, this family was up for the adventure to create unforgettable moments. Obviously, they know they are making this precious moment in their lives last forever. Lost Gulch First of all, let's mention how much we love Lost Gulch! No matter what the session is, Lost Gulch always provides us with the perfect backdrop for some jaw-dropping images. Located atop Flagstaff mountain just 5.5 miles west of Boulder, there is so much depth and vastness at this viewpoint. For instance, from the cliff-top, you can see all the way past Nederland into the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Rocky Mountain National Park. I mean, how could it not leave you awestruck? Family Fun! How can engagement photos get any sweeter? Kaeli and Sam sugar coated their engagement photos at Scrumptious, a local candy shop in Longmont, Colorado. After the sugar rush, we continued the fun at Cheese Importers, also located in Longmont. The locations were a perfect fit for the couple as the fun, authentic, and romantic sweet delicacies of the relationship are captured. A Sweet Story Coincidentally, the two met while Kaeli was babysitting for a neighbor. Sam just so happened to previously live in that same house where Kaeli was babysitting. Sam knocked on the front door to pick up old mail. As Kaeli opened the door she was in awe as the two locked eyes. Strangers face to face, but that first gaze was the spark of the luscious life that was promised ahead. It was destined to be as the two had family members that also knew each other.
