This RiNo engagement shoot was absolutely perfect for our fun and quirky couple, Laura and Shon! Walking the streets of the RiNo Art District will easily brighten anyone's day thanks to the colorful and lively art that fills the neighborhood. RiNo Art District Located in Five Points, just north of Downtown Denver, the RiNo Art District is home to art galleries, studio spaces, and artists of all types. The beautiful murals throughout this district aren't the only things that make this a must-go place to visit. The RiNo Art District has a variety of hip restaurants and bars which make it the best place to explore and try new things. One of our favorite places to visit is Ratio Beerworks which perfectly combines live music and beer for an ideal night out. If you are wandering around RiNo during the day, make sure you go and check out the Denver Zine Library. We love this versatile area because, as we’ve learned, it’s not only one of the best outdoor exploring spots, but it’s perfect for engagement and family photo sessions! A Fabulous Four On their daughter’s birthday, this family asked us to shoot their family photos at — you guessed it — Chautauqua Park! We were thrilled to be back in Boulder to snap this sweet family of four among the stunning Colorado outdoors. Their various print tops and comfortable jeans were perfect for the start of the spring season! The family's lovey-dovey vibes were totally adorable, so our job was more than easy. With two lovable little girls and two sweet parents, we laughed and joked right along with them. The Perfect Park As you can tell from our previous sessions at Chautauqua Park, to say this place is stunning does not do it justice. This place is clearly good for the mind, body and soul. In addition to the flatiron views and rolling hills, this 80-acre park has picnic areas, hiking trails, campgrounds, playgrounds and gardens
A drizzly forecast did not damper Mariah and Josh’s jubilant wedding day. In fact, clear umbrellas against misty mountains and an Estes Park venue like the Della Terra Mountain Chateau made the day more enchantingly magical than we’d ever witnessed before! Della Terra combines peaceful mountain terrain with exciting party-time vibes. So, the building’s stone and wood exterior made a perfect backdrop for this couple's romantic photos. While outside drizzled rain, the inside venue glittered with hanging lights and lively guests brimming with smiles! Lucky for us, we got to witness it all! The Aesthetic To no one's surprise, Mariah and Josh took this rather wet, chilly day and filled it with life. Mariah’s wedding dress was anything but ordinary. Its lace details and two-piece dress gave her all the ~spunk~. Josh looked dapper in his stylish, grey suit. Over the river and through the woods, we captured Rachel and Justin's maternity pictures for their itty bitty, oh-so-lovable future family member. Located in the quaint town of Golden, Colorado, Clear Creek Historic Park proved the perfect hideaway setting for this couple and their coming baby. A popular little town of about 19,000 people, Golden is a throbbing attraction for tourists and natives alike. So, you won't be shocked that we were thrilled to go to this breathtaking location to capture their maternity pictures (see our recent engagement post at Clear Creek!). From vintage porch steps to lush to green trails, the secret corners of this park helped Rachel and Justin contemplate what's to come! Guess How Much I Love You It is undeniable from these heartwarming photos that these two are more than ready to make this duo a trio. The couple looked like they could be in a fairytale with their suave outfits and awe - worthy accessories. Rachel and Justin had us dreaming a dream we never wanted to wake up from! Adeline and Josh celebrated their engagement among the the Colorado Rockies and a glistening Lake Dillon, and we have never swooned more. The couple was completely charming, silly and so playful. In every shot they gushed with love and celebrated with passion (and wine!) -- and we were thrilled to be a part of this Lake Dillon engagement! Colorado Roots! Just outside of Frisco, Colorado, this scenic location at the Lake Dillon Marina is not new to From the Hip Photo. Remember Brianna and Ben's engagement last year? We sure do! This nature location is jaw-dropping and eye-catching not just because it of its breathtaking magic. The place also holds a special place in this couple's heart since it displays the quintessential Colorado views they cherish. Josh proposed at the top of Booth Falls, another stunning hike a little too high up for this October photo shoot. Still, the outdoors are always an ideal choice when it comes to capturing those intimate engagement pictures. The great outdoors has incredible lighting and colors fit for any scheme.
