It’s been another couple weeks full of fantastic adventures here at From the Hip! Our photographic exploits took us to California, Massachusetts, the United Kingdom, and Russia (more on those later). Here’s some of what we’ve been working at here in the studio…
Katie and Joe had a fun-filled wedding at the Wedgewood Wedding and Banquet Center in Boulder. There were many silly faces being exchanged between the wedding party and bride + groom, who later showed off some serious skills on the dance floor.
Riley is going to be a high school senior in the fall and we think we may have a future presidential candidate on our hands. She is incredibly smart and witty, and we loved exploring the Denver Public Library and area around the Capitol for her senior portrait.
Our future neighbors at The Stanley Marketplace and our new fave florists needed some photos to showcase their handiwork and we were flattered to help showcase some inventive arrangements! We are constantly amazed by what the wonderful ladies at Poppy & Pine create.
Trash the dress sessions are always an awesome experience for us! Danielle and Ian wanted to do a car themed session on Lookout Mountain and we were fortunate to capture this.
Leigh, Chris and their lovable pup strolled through City Park on their quaint engagement session. Their dog loved chasing the geese and made this session entertaining.
This couple brought out their fun and creative side to their engagement session at the Botanic Gardens. Lis and Tyson definitely have a magnetic attraction for one another!
Bunnies + ribbons + flower crowns = a wedding full of love! The glorious sunset, the glowstick exit — too many favorite things to list! We loved every second here! Congrats to Mary and Justin, your wedding at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens was epic!
Every little detail was so well thought-out and purposeful at Madeline and Logan’s wedding. The backdrop was the marvelous Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek; we couldn’t have asked for a more charming location. And nothing could have prepared us for the EDM and shutter-shade fueled party that followed–such a memorable group!
Who loves empanadas? Elizabeth and Gavin do! This engagement session was captured at Chatfield Botanic Gardens. Congrats to these sweet sweethearts!
Lastly, here is a little nook we loved at one of the real estate listings we photographed for superstar Realtor Chantel Campbell in Denver. This home was filled with artistic flourishes, paintings, books, and musical instruments. It was a warm, inviting space and we totally just wanted to curl up and turn some pages in this spot.
We’ll be back in August with more highlights from further photographic exploits!
