The simple, rustic, and elegant wedding created by Kaitlyn and Travis was held downtown in Denver, Colorado at Blanc. Blanc is best described as an innovative venue where space adjusts to the design of the event. The flowers were a variety of simple white flowers including roses, ranunculus, delphinium, spray roses, and other seasonal picks by Poppy & Pine.
Downtown Denver is the most amazing place to capture wedding portraits! Union Station is a quintessential Denver landmark! We love the architecture and the city vibes that this location has! We offer many wedding packages that can fit all of your needs! Our “Choose your own Adventure” option is the perfect way to customize your wedding day!
We love a good proposal story! Travis booked a date night at Create Cooking School in the Stanley Marketplace for a pasta-making class. He had organized it all with the owner a week before and dropped the ring off that afternoon. When it came time to eat the tarts the couple baked, they walked over to see their creation, and there, right on Kaitlyn’s plate, was the ring box. Down on one knee, Kaitlyn of course said yes, proving that you can’t go wrong with a wedding proposal when dessert is involved!
What makes Kaitlyn and Travis’s wedding unique and fun is the vibe the couple has with their wonderful bridal party! They were down for our funky poses and being very creative, we love when that happens! They decided to go with a simple palate and use mostly greenery and white flowers with touches of silver to accent the aspect of elegance and romance, all while keeping it simple and organic with the outdoor area, exposed brick, and pipes/beams of our venue, blanc. Travis picked navy for his suits then the rest fell into Kaitlyn’s decorative mind for the rest of the palette. Kaitlyn wore an ivory all-over beaded lace strapless fit and flare dress by Justin Alexander.
Their special day continued on with the fun with a toast, cutting the cake, to the first dance, then opened the floor for some good dancing. Kaitlyn and Travis shared their philosophy that you should decorate based on your own creativity while enjoying the moment. We couldn’t agree more!
We’re always happy to set up a time to learn more about your wedding or elopement ideas by phone or in person.
