There’s just something about a baby and his two loyal (and very hairy) buds that just melts our hearts! Family portraits with pets are always super sweet, especially when the pets interact with the lens just as nicely as the family! We met the Kinde family at one of the many Denver parks on a stunning autumn day.
With teeth coming, their baby boy was a drooly cutie. His tender gums didn’t ward off any of his dimpled smiles, though! Grandma and Grandpa even made an appearance to the little tots delight! He sat on a plushy blanket and gave our lens a few gummy smiles. Being late autumn, there were plenty of crunchy, dried up leaves on the ground which made an awesome background and prop in some pictures. It’s one of our favorite seasons for photos!
The little Yorkshire terrier and bigger Boxer were great friends, sitting on the blanket in the most gentle way possible. They seemed to be very aware of the little boy’s fragility, and were extremely sweet and careful around him!
Being the middle of autumn, the weather is always unpredictable. You can easily start the day in shorts and end it bundled up in layers. For these family portraits with pets, the weather luckily gave us a great autumn day! The colors of the scenery plus the outfits worn went so well together. Mrs. Kinde’s deep plum shirt paired perfectly with her hubby’s plain flannel and their son’s mustard khaki pants.
We had the privilege of photographing the Kinde family right before they grew in a family photo session, right after they grew in a newborn session, and now, as it continues to grow! It’s always incredible to see clients bloom! We can only imagine their little one is going to grow like a weed in the future with his furry pals and parents by his side!
