The adorable Perez family joined us at Cherry Creek Reservoir to document their growing family and we couldn’t have had more fun during their photo session.
The colors were soft, dreamy, and a flawless realization of what Amy envisioned for her Bohemian maternity photos. Adorned in a purple and pink flower crown that perfectly matched her pale pink boho style maternity dress, Amy looked like a free spirited hippie goddess, baby bump and all! A light breeze from the lake played with her flowing dress to add to the serenity and gracefulness of the moment.
As if that weren’t enough, their two-year-old daughter posed in her own matching flower crown! The amount of cuteness was almost criminal!

Cherry Creek Reservoir is a beloved photography location for photographers. For these photos, it provided a variety of calm, natural backdrops to complement the Bohemian maternity photo look. Bright green trees and grasses gently contrasted the light pinks and purples of Amy’s outfit for a cohesive, fashionable look.
We’ve been privileged to photograph the Perez family over almost half a decade. Building long lasting relationships like this is a vital part of what we do at From the Hip Photo and is something of which we’re extremely proud. Getting to see couples turn into families is deeply gratifying, and in the case of the Perez clan, it’s been so amazing to see them prepare to grow from a happy trio to a loving foursome.
