Ann & Darin wed at the historic Manor House Event Center in Denver, CO. Herein, they lovingly seal their bond and make history together as one.
Manor House
The Manor House is one of the most popular wedding venues in Colorado and this couple wouldn’t miss the opportunity to wed here for anything! For starters, it encompasses views of the famous Red Rocks and the Rocky Mountains. The scenic background and gorgeous white columns of this old-fashioned home create an elegant and dreamy atmosphere. As such, it is a wonderful environment to celebrate the union of Ann & Darin.
So why do they adore this mansion so much anyways?! Well, according to the historical records, John Charles Shaffer purchased 2660 acres of land in 1914. He then vowed to build a summer retreat mansion with the help of architect Edbrooke. This architect had become famous for his work on the Oxford Hotel and Brown palace, which are now also legendary Denver tourist attractions. If you weren’t aware, they are both well-known haunted Denver hotels. But don’t worry! The Manor House is not one of them! You may take the time to read up on the rich history of the Manor House here.
Just adjacent to the mansion is the Kent cottage in which Mr. Shaffer proudly named after his sons. It contains 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a large kitchen and living area. It is comfortably equipped for 6 persons. The homes have been renovated and updated over the years, making them alluring venue attractions. They are available as rentals to suit any night you wish to commemorate and treasure forever! Check out more information on their weddings venues.
Preparing To Wed!
Ann looks absolutely fabulous in her lace dominant, perfectly fitted white wedding dress. She looked so beautiful it was hard to take your eyes off her! But why stop looking? Let her softly sweet and elegant look soak in. After-all, its her day to shine! Additionally, with Ann’s hair and make-up having been perfected by ‘Fluff;’ she had no worries that she wouldn’t be putting her best face forward! Her mother and grandmothers didn’t miss a beat in the dressing room. They did all they could to help make sure Ann looked and felt her best for her big moment. Subsequently, Ann can be seen feeling her best when she shows off her gorgeous, radiantly white smile just before embarking on the most significant walk of her life!
Meanwhile, Darin eagerly awaited their union and couldn’t stop thinking about the love of his life. As he stood in front of the mirror, he even briefly worried about whether or not he was worthy of her love. But then he realized that nobody else could possibly love her more! It was at that moment that he started wishing they could start the rest of their lives together as soon as possible! Darin wore a classy grey suit and held a proud, confident stance. This, coupled with his anticipatory facial expression, gave off an impression that Darin was a trust-worthy gentleman. Anna is a lucky woman and Darin is a lucky man. Let’s face it!
The Wedding
Ann and Darin had a sophisticated and romantic wedding to say the least. It was an intensely stylish ceremony that ended up being perfectly suitable for the historical Manor House. It was almost like this homes’ rich history was kept alive and thriving through this classy, heartfelt ceremony. Hence, Ann & Darin wed in the right place, at the right time, like a match made in heaven.
Reception Celebration
Ann & Darin had been eagerly looking forward to their first dance. And once they hit the dance floor, they looked like they were meant to do this for the rest of their lives. Their natural-looking wonderful embrace appeared as though it would last forever. The ‘Diamond Empire Band’ engaged and motivated all the guests to join in on the dance floor, which made Ann & Darin feel ‘at home’ among their loved ones. They were talented dancers with a special chemistry that could be easily spotted between the two of them. When will we see them on ‘Dancing with the Stars?’ 🙂
After the dancing and onto the reception, the guests got to enjoy the delicious baked goods and desserts. Brought to them by the vendor ‘Milk n ‘Cake’…the goodies exemplified a delightful ending to a flawless wedding and reception. We can still taste the sweetest perfection of every moment of this endearing wedding caught on camera!
Congratulations!
Ann & Darin, you did it! We wish you the best of luck in your future and hope that the memories of this outstanding wedding will forever be imprinted in your hearts.
As Ann and Darin take the time to cherish the thousands of acres purchased by Shaffer a hundred years ago, their classic country look is reminiscent of a cover of a famous fictitious romance novel. But this is not a Nicholas Sparks novel (although it may as well be); this is instead non-fiction. This is the real story of Ann and Darin’s beautiful Manor House wedding.
