Located along Littleton’s South Platte River, Hudson Gardens is a unique non-profit botanical garden, perfect for your next photo shoot. Spanning 30 acres, the Hudson Gardens started out as a “regional display garden” to provide the community with a place of beauty. The gardens offer learning, and enjoyment by showcasing the unique plants that grow well in Colorado’s Front Range climate. Alongside this, the gardens are a great spot for a natural setting in all seasons!
Variety Galore
Hudson Gardens contains everything from a rose fountain, to a barn, to wetlands and cascades. In short, the options for backgrounds for photos are endless! In addition, the location is packed with smaller gardens: The Rose, Oval, Honeybee, and Herbs/Veggies just to name a few. Hudson Gardens is also home to several venues: The Inn is where weddings are often hosted and The Garden Canopy, Garden Pavillion, Concert Amphitheatre, and The Overlook are all prime event locations. We can’t forget the attractions the garden holds either. Victoria Water Lily Pond, Garden Railroad, Aquatic holding Plant Pond, Monet’s Place, and the Island. With so much variety there is no shortage of places to take photos!

The Hudson Gardens are overflowing with the abundance of life, a complimentary setting for those nurturing life themselves. Maternity photos are absolutely stunning, no matter the season! The gardens are an exceptional place to capture the wonder of pregnancy!
Wedding Photos
The Hudson Gardens hosts weddings here as well, a lively venue to match the excitement! There is a $50 photo permit fee to capture photos here, but it is worth it once you see the colors and the beauty that nature has to offer! Located minutes from downtown Littleton on South Santa Fe Drive, this space offers a sweet retreat from city life and the ideal setting for your big day.
