When Torchy’s Tacos expanded into the Colorado scene this past year, the reception was nothing short of ecstatic! Folks lined up around the block for a taste of the Austin-based company’s sensational tacos and refreshing margaritas. We’re suckers for their envy-inducing green chile queso and are also big fans of their business model and free-wheeling personality. That’s why we were elated to team up with them recently on the grand opening of the new Torchy’s Tacos Greenwood Village location!
If you’re a food lover, Denver is a phenomenal place to be! It’s easy to take for granted how food-forward the city has become. The community here is exceptionally receptive to new food concepts and local restaurants have flourished over the past decade, despite some stiff competition.
We were beyond excited to team up with Torchy’s Tacos Greenwood Village, especially since their Northfield location is so convenient for post-work happy hours here in Stapleton. Happy hour is so much better with tacos! One of our go-to combos is their swirled frozen strawberry margarita and the Trailer Park taco.
The opening night in Greenwood Village was a huge success. A line of Torchy’s Tacos fanatics hundreds deep wound its way around the new building in Greenwood Village and through the parking lot. Even though there are a handful of other taco locations in Colorado, it says a lot about how passionate their fans are that people are still willing to wait in line for hours to grab a bite. That’s devotion!
