If you ask us which venue is our absolute favorite to photograph, the answer is easy: Spruce Mountain Ranch in Larkspur, Colorado. We, at From the Hip Photo, take exceptional pride in our ongoing partnership with this little slice of heaven enveloped by idyllic meadows and serene mountains. Our collaborations stretch back over a decade. Markedly, we have had the pleasure of photographing dozens of weddings and other events at the venue over the years.
A few Valentine's Days ago, we had the pleasure of putting on our ski's and catching a chairlift with Nikki and AJ to capture their incredible Mountaintop Matrimony during Loveland Ski Area's 30th Annual "Marry Me & Ski for Free."
We absolutely adore capturing family photos at Meyer Ranch Park in Morrison, Colorado. Located just a short drive from Denver, this picturesque park offers a stunning natural backdrop for family photography. It's no wonder why it's a favorite spot of ours here at From the Hip Photo!

We visited the west coast to the east coast for Hello Betty. From a birds-eye view, Hello Betty is a seafood restaurant that lies on both coasts of the US. They serve an array of seafood in the freshest form by taking part in sustainable fishing practices.
The perfect place for those who love the outdoors, nature, and art. This garden provides a gorgeous backdrop to an engagement or bridal shoot and family portraits.
This location has tons to offer as far as backdrops and activities and will be perfect for your photos during any season!
Vibrant Civic Center is dominated by government buildings, including the Colorado State Capitol with its gold-plated dome. Dotted with fountains, statues and a Greek amphitheater.
With two trailheads on either side of the park, Mount Falcon Park is a gorgeous location for views of rock formations, snowy peaks, and pine tree groves.
