Colorado weather can be a bit tricky, but Katie and Ernest didn’t let the fog keep them down! This awesome couple turned their time with us into a beautiful engagement session at foggy Chautauqua Park in Boulder, CO!
When things don’t go as planned… we got you!
We were planning to meet at Lost Gulch in Boulder, Co but with the fog looming our team acted quickly and recommended moving their session to create this stunning engagement session at foggy Chautauqua Park. Ernest was only in town for the weekend so we made the most of things. We have to say, we think their foggy engagement session turned out great!
How these love birds met
Katie and Ernest met a few years ago in a discipleship/bible study in North Dakota where Ernest lives. Katie just happened to be visiting and what luck that was! They kept in touch over the years but didn’t start dating until January 2019, and the rest is history!
How he Popped the Question
Ernest proposed on Christmas Eve while he was visiting Katie. They were walking around outside of the Gaylord of the Rockies Hotel checking out all the Christmas lights when it happened. He kept trying to throw her off by saying things like, “It’s so lame when people get engaged on holidays.” He really had her fooled! Katie’s family was in town and knew it was happening so they all got to celebrate afterward. Ernest really knows how to plan!
