Size Matters
We had the distinct pleasure of photographing this delightfully colorful corporate party at the Gaylord of the Rockies Resort — a disco party at that! That means it’s time to get some inspiration going for your next party, wedding, or big event.
The scale of this place is massive! Gaylord Resorts are known for their staggering size, and Gaylord of the Rockies is no exception, with the largest conference and event space of any hotel or resort in the Denver metro area.
Time To Get To Work
This was a corporate event, so we’ll keep the company’s name out of this post to protect the innocent 😉
All told, this business had over 500 employees show up for a good time, and they all dressed to impress. It was pretty incredible!
Hostess With The Mostess
Quick shoutout to the Gaylord, if you are ever thinking about hosting a wedding, an event, anything. You owe it to yourself to check them out. The staff there are incredible: we had an amazing experience with all the staff, and we were just there as another vendor! It wass easy to see how attentive they were with all the guests. The facilities themselves were top-flight — we can’t say enough good things about these folks!
Inspiration
Okay, back to photographing this colorful corporate party at the Gaylord. Since it was disco themed, they had every color imaginable flashing on the walls, floors, under the floors… it was intense, in the best way possible It could have been a Pride event with every color of the rainbow on such proud display! The dance floor was pretty cool as well: it utilized a mirror trick that made it look like you could fall downward infinitely. Then there were the themed roller skaters, who grooved around the guests as they glided across the spacce.
