Two adorable pooches and a glowing couple in love make for engagement photos that practically capture themselves. Working with Hayley and David was an absolute blast, and we have the pictures to prove it! The pair radiated love and enthusiasm as we explored City Park, a 330-acre neighborhood in East-central Denver.
City Park offers a great variety of unique and interesting backgrounds, and we were able to get tons of stunning shots of the couple. From stucco archways to ornate wrought iron railings and trees galore— we were able to let our creative juices flow! Lucky for us, our couple and their pups were totally on board.
To start our session out, we included Hayley and David’s fluffy family members. As the day progressed, we were able to capture the two alone, and then include some close family members. As the two laughed and snuggled on the steps, love was definitely in the air.
Can we just brag for a second? Being photographers is always special because we get to capture those memories no one wants to forget. Pretty awesome.
We love the duo’s simple choice in clothes— Hayley’s bright pink cardigan is the perfect feminine contrast to David’s gray shirt, and they keep the vibe cool, comfortable and casual. The light was perfect as we moved into a more wooded area of the park. We were able to capture the love Hayley and David clearly have for each other.
The duo had no problem getting a little silly and shared lots of laughs as they danced, kissed, and even stopped for a piggy-back ride. David wasn’t the only man getting Hayley’s attention though… However, we were able to get a couple of photos with Hayley’s first love- her dad. It’s so much fun when our couples think a little outside of the box, so we love that they incorporated their fur and human family in this shoot.
Hayley and David absolutely radiate happiness, and we cannot get over how bright Hayley’s smile is. This is a pair whose love for each other will stand the test of time, and we are so lucky to get to be a part of their story!
