Contrary to popular belief, the middle of winter in downtown Denver is actually great time for family portraits with pets! Being in a state that has weather has unpredictable as, well…this little puppy, we were happy that the sun showed up this winter afternoon! We met the Kennedy family at Denver’s Millennium Bridge, which is known for its unique architecture.
Trianna and her boyfriend snuggled up to each other, striking a few goofy poses as well as a few poses that give us butterflies! She brought her Corgi puppy, Thor, along for the photo session as well as the rest of her family. Trianna’s boyfriend brought his family along too, including his little nephew!
We liked having so many different family members there. It’s always awesome to be able to snap memorable pictures of sisters, brothers, nephews, parents, and even pets! Plus, with so many people there, there are all the more laughter and smiles!
The group dressed comfortable, casual, and cool. Trianna and her boyfriend even matched the color of their flannels at one point! Trianna’s sister wore a plain black shirt, which looked great both with and without Thor as an accessory. Thor went the natural route and opted to go without a harness in some photos, which was a monumental outfit change on his part.
We love pictures of kids with animals, the innocence is too adorable, and makes our hearts melt! Thor seemed to be following the little nephew’s example, and sat on his best behavior (and gave his best grin)! These two families were so fun-loving and smiley. You’d definitely smile as much as this family did if you had a little puppy running around, though! The love was abundant in these Denver family portraits with pets on this balmy winter day and we’re very happy we got to revel in it!
