An Idaho Springs, CO Wedding Shoot
Idaho Springs, CO is a perfect stop off I-70. A walk around downtown shows many well-preserved historic buildings, as well as plenty of quality restaurants. In town, you can find the 125-year-old Argo Gold Mine and Mill and even try panning for gold! Not far from town, is a working mine, the Phoenix Gold Mine. There you can learn about modern and historical mining techniques.
As with Argo, at Phoenix Gold Mine you can do a little gold panning yourself! While you’re there, enjoy the hot mineral waters of the springs after which the town is named. The Indian Springs Resort offers overnight accommodations, or visit the geothermal springs and caves for a fitting cap to your day.
