At the top of our list of food priorities, is eating Nagle’s Bagels every time we’re in New York! Some of you might disagree with this…but we would 100%, hands down, without a doubt finagle a Nagle’s bagel. In all honesty, if we had to pick one thing to live off for the rest of our lives, it would be bagels, so what better place to get them than Nagle’s?
Answer: there is no better place. This yummy spot is great for breakfast or brunch. Or, you could even get an extra of your favorite and put it in the fridge for dinner. Bagels for dinner is normal, right? We’re asking for a friend…
Unfortunately for us, Nagle’s is only in New York. Lucky for you New York dwellers and New York goers, however, there are four locations in and around Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Their menu is extremely easy to navigate, and is separated into three categories: meat, veggie, and fish. So many options for both meat lovers, fish lovers, and those that steer clear of all meat!
Now, if you’ve never had a New York bagel, then you know that bagels from pretty much everywhere else pale in comparison. There are endless articles out there detailing why this is, but to be completely truthful, we don’t even care why New York bagels taste so much better, we just want to eat them 24/7!
Nagle’s Bagels makes theirs the most authentically New York way possible. After forming the dough into a bagel shape, the baker places the raw bagel in boiling water, and flips it over before putting it into the oven. If you haven’t been eating bagels made this way all along…then I’m sorry to break it to you but you’ve been eating bread in the shape of a bagel my friend.
