Engagement photos are an exciting way to spread the news of your upcoming wedding while also allowing you to interact with your photographer before your wedding day. More importantly, engagement photos are more than just pictures — they’re memories!
We got to witness this cute, down to earth couple start their journey toward forever together in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains!
Grounded in the gorgeous Denver Botanic Gardens, Natalia and Anu celebrated their engagement with grace and style! How they Met Natalia and Anu met one magical night at a New Year's Eve party. They had a great time getting to know each other; so much so that Nathalia's stomach hurt from laughing! Then Anu kissed her on the cheek at the stroke of midnight! Just like in your favorite romantic movie! The Proposal Subsequently, Natalia and Anu had many wonderful times together, and it just kept getting better and better. After Natalia came back from the Peace Corps for a 3-week leave, they went on a date in Denver. As they were walking, they came across a flash mob. They stopped and watched for a bit, and then the mob pulled Natalia in! With everyone dancing around her, she finally realized what was going on! Feelings of anticipation consumed her. At the end of the dance, Anu walked straight through the dancers and proposed….Are you blushing yet? What a romantic proposal, Anu! Denver Botanic Gardens The Denver Botanic Gardens are a great match for this motivated couple. The garden has core values of transformation, relevance, diversity, and sustainability. It seeks
How can engagement photos get any sweeter? Kaeli and Sam sugar coated their engagement photos at Scrumptious, a local candy shop in Longmont, Colorado. After the sugar rush, we continued the fun at Cheese Importers, also located in Longmont. The locations were a perfect fit for the couple as the fun, authentic, and romantic sweet delicacies of the relationship are captured. A Sweet Story Coincidentally, the two met while Kaeli was babysitting for a neighbor. Sam just so happened to previously live in that same house where Kaeli was babysitting. Sam knocked on the front door to pick up old mail. As Kaeli opened the door she was in awe as the two locked eyes. Strangers face to face, but that first gaze was the spark of the luscious life that was promised ahead. It was destined to be as the two had family members that also knew each other. What a small world! Sam popped the question while on a romantic trip to Ireland showing us all that love at first sight is in fact real! Sweet & Savory Locations There are no boundaries when choosing locations to shoot your engagement photos. We love getting creative and finding new
Who doesn’t want someone to travel the world with? Lily and Jacob never shy away from a new adventure and exploring a new place! Always trying to climb the next mountain together. Love encourages us to reach new heights! That is why this beautiful couple hiking to the top of a snowy peak made these photos so much more special. It is a scene that showcases beauty almost as radiant as their love. In between Keystone and Breckenridge, CO sits a winter wonderland, Sapphire Point. With an elevation of 9,500 feet, this gorgeous overlook of Dillion Reservoir is the perfect spot for any thrill seeker. Lily’s velvet dress provided the perfect complement to the deep green of the trees and sparkling white of the snow. Sparks Fly Meeting in college at a Fourth of July party, these two are meant for an exploding love story! With sparks flying around them the night they met, it is clear why this session was electric. True happiness illuminates from their smiling faces! It is obvious this is the kind of love that hugs you so tight you always feel safe. Even when looking over the edge of a cliff! After school, Lily and
Who doesn't love a snow-covered mountain overlooking the Rockies as their backdrop for engagement photos? Monique and Brian loved it so much they hiked up Lost Gulch in the middle of winter! It was freezing cold but they didn't have a care in the world. Visiting from Atlanta, Georgia, these two made it look like they hiked Lost Gulch every weekend. From ATL to the Mile High City I am sure that Atlanta has plenty to offer, but nothing beats the Rockies mid-winter! With an endless range of peaks and valleys, you can never go wrong. Lost Gulch just so happens to be one of our favorite locations. Lost Gulch Overlook is nestled in Flagstaff Mountain which overlooks the nearby city of Boulder. The Boulder area is filled with fun and eclectic people, places, and things to do! From the awesome shops on Pearl street to the beautiful trails surrounding the city-- you can't go wrong! The only thing that could have made this day better would have been some cozy hot chocolate on the mountaintop! Let's Take a Trip to Colombia (it's warmer there!) It wouldn't be an engagement session without an engagement story! After knowing each other since middle
The weather here in Colorado tends to shift from hot to cold and back again over the course of a single day. If often feels like Colorado's weather doesn't have seasons so much as it does mood swings. At their Sprague Lake engagement shoot earlier this fall, Ashleigh and Tim showed us their secret technique for conquering the confusing Colorado climate: blankets! Love & Order We're willing to bet that most people don't enroll in mock trial class expecting to find love. But that's exactly how Ashleigh and Tim met! As the two teammates grew closer, Ashleigh proposed a trip for the two of them to Iceland. As it turns out, Tim had a proposal of his own in mind. He surprised Ashleigh by popping the question on the last day of their trip. We happen to think an Icelandic proposal sounds pretty romantic, but we'll let the jury decide this one. Sprague Lake So why a Sprague Lake engagement shoot? Well, it's no Iceland, but we happen to think it's pretty cool. Located in Rocky Mountain National Park, Sprague Lake is named after Abner Sprague. Sprague (the guy, not the lake) moved to the area in the late 19th
