Have you ever had an alien encounter? As a child, were you obsessed with Journey to the Center of the Earth, or maybe even Land of the Lost? Here’s your chance to jump into the middle of a journey quite similar to those childhood favorites we’ve all loved and adored! Travelers of the Lost Dimension is an experiential theater program put on by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ immersive offshoot, Off-Center. To be even more specific, it’s an interactive, adventure by A.C.E, a local comedy trio that’s best at leaving their audience in stitches!
This spunky, child-friendly show takes place here at our lovely home, Stanley Marketplace, traveling in and out of private and public spaces. We highly recommend shaking your inhibitions and tagging along for the adventure. The show invites you to play games alongside the cast, becoming part of the ever-unfolding story.
As adults, it can be hard to realize that sometimes, the gears of our imagination have become a little rusty just sitting in the garage. It’s even harder to pinpoint exactly when your imagination was put on the backburner. With that in mind, Travelers of the Lost Dimension reconnects you with your inner child (and perhaps also your actual child right next to you)! SoΒ clean off the chrome gears of your imagination and let them shine!
Tickets have been going at a fast clip, so fast that DCPA decided to extend the dates of the show! We’re just now entering the last month of this incredibly fun and funny show, as their last performance is May 21st. Every ticket also comes with a voucher for a free drink from the Stanley Marketplace beer hall, which is a fantastic deal if you ask us!
The entire adventure is roughly 60-80 minutes, not including intermission, and it’s great bang for your buck whether you attend on your own, with your partner, or with your family. Just don’t forget to pack your imagination…
