Where You At?
Visitors to this park will find a starting point for reaching the City of Denver’s Red Rocks Park by trail. Across County Road 93, the Hogback offers a different recreation experience, with a steep climb up to the hulking ridge between plains and foothills. Dinosaur Ridge Visitor Center is a neighboring attraction, providing interpretation for the dinosaur tracks imprinted on the eastern face of the Hogback.
This open space location leads into a bundle of trees with the creek running through it. This shady area is perfect for all of your family shot ideas! Imagine the photos we can create Matthews/Winters Park with its nine trails, and a vast variety of backdrops! Although some trails may take longer to hike, that is okay, we offer longer sessions too! Feel free bring to bring your pets, just as long as they’re leashed; according to the JeffCo rules. You’ll find smooth terrain, rocky terrain, and a couple of good climbs on this route. This trail is often popular for mountain biking, therefore having photobombed pictures could be pretty sweet.
