Located just south of the Bronco Stadium, the Mile High Station occupies the former Midwest Steel and Ironworks building. The original building dates back to the turn of the century (1897). At that time the building was a Denver landmark employing hundreds of ironworkers and craftsmen. This was the forgery for the pieces at City and County Building/Moffat Tunnel/Royal Gorge Bridge.
